Our bags are Food-grade vacuum bags safe for food storage, transportation, designed to withstand freezing, sous-vide cooking, and reheating in boiling water.
Thawing before reheating is optional.
Absolutely not necessary when reheating with a water bath.
But recommended when reheating in a microwave for more even heating and better results. You can thaw the vacuum-sealed dishes in the refrigerator overnight or use the defrost setting on your microwave.
Though slightly longer, the water bath reheating method is the easiest one since it requires no supervision per say, allows for the reheating of multiple bags simultaneously, and is possibly the one that ‘respect the product’ the best by not exposing the food to high eat.
It's not recommended to reuse vacuum-sealed bags for reheating purposes due to potential contamination risks.
